The Soldier Who Almost Killed Wild Bill Hickock

In 1870 Wild Bill Hickok was involved in a brawl in Hays, Kansas. It is one of the incidents contributing to his fame and noted in all biographies on him. One soldier was killed. His remarkable story (including a Congressional Medal of Honor in 1869) has never been told before.
